These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website www.limasix.com (the “Website”) and your purchase of Lima Six belt-fed upper receivers and build kits for AR-15s and related products (“Products”). By accessing our Website or purchasing our Products, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Website or purchase our Products.

1. Eligibility
To purchase Lima Six Products from our Website, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or the minimum age required by your jurisdiction). We reserve the right to request proof of age.

• Be a resident of the United States. No sales or shipments are permitted outside the United States.

• Not be a prohibited person under federal or state law, including but not limited to felons, individuals adjudicated as mentally defective, or those subject to domestic violence restraining orders.

• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to the Gun Control Act of 1968, the National Firearms Act, and regulations enforced by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

2. Compliance with Firearms Laws

• 2.1 Legal Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring that your purchase, possession, assembly, and use of Lima Six Products comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including verifying compliance with local ordinances (e.g., city-specific bans in Boulder, CO). Our Products are upper receivers and build kits and do not require transfer through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL). You certify that you are legally permitted to purchase, possess, and assemble these components. Control Dynamics Corporation does not provide legal advice and recommends consulting a qualified attorney to ensure compliance.

• 2.2 No Export: Products may not be exported, re-exported, or transferred outside the United States in violation of U.S. export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

• 2.3 Changes in Laws or Regulations: Firearms laws and regulations are subject to change. You are solely responsible for monitoring and complying with any new or amended laws that may affect the possession, use, or assembly of Lima Six Products. We are not liable for any loss, penalty, or inconvenience resulting from changes in applicable laws.

• 2.4 No Transfer to Prohibited Persons: You agree not to sell, transfer, or provide Lima Six Products or any assembled firearm to any individual or entity prohibited from possessing firearms or firearm components under federal, state, or local law.

3. Orders and Payment

• Order Acceptance: All orders for Lima Six Products are subject to our acceptance. Control Dynamics Corporation reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in pricing, or suspected non-compliance with applicable laws.

• Pricing: Prices are listed in USD and exclude shipping, taxes, and any applicable fees unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

• Payment: We accept credit or debit cards only. Full payment is required upfront unless prior arrangements are made.

• Order Confirmation: Upon placing an order, you will receive a confirmation email. This does not guarantee order fulfillment until we verify compliance and availability.

4. Shipping and Delivery

• Shipping Restrictions: See our Shipping Restrictions Policy below. We only ship Lima Six Products to addresses within the United States where they are legally permitted.

• Shipping Times: Estimated shipping times are provided at checkout but are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to compliance checks, carrier issues, or other factors.

• Risk of Loss: Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

Shipping Restrictions Policy
Control Dynamics Corporation, operating as Lima Six, ships belt-fed upper receivers and build kits for AR-15s to customers within the United States, subject to the following restrictions. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws regarding the purchase, possession, and use of our Products.

• Prohibited Jurisdictions: We do not ship Lima Six complete belt-fed upper receivers or build kits to the following states and jurisdictions, where semi-automatic firearms with belt-fed ammunition systems are completely banned or pose significant compliance challenges due to magazine capacity or assault weapon laws:

  • Washington DC

  • Washington State

  • Illinois

  • Massachusetts

  • Puerto Rico

  • Connecticut

  • Delaware

• Restricted Jurisdictions: In certain states, there are restrictions on what we can ship. Buyers must assemble build kits into a compliant configuration (e.g., a featureless rifle with no pistol grip, folding stock, or flash suppressor, and a belt or magazine not exceeding state capacity limits). Buyers are solely responsible for verifying compliance with all applicable state and local laws, consulting a local Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) or attorney if needed, and acknowledging that Control Dynamics Corporation is not responsible for ensuring compliance.

  • California: We can ship build kits and complete uppers. Uppers will ship without a flash hider.

  • Colorado: No sales to Boulder County, Vail City, or Denver. No sales to Colorado after August 2026.

  • New Jersey: We can ship parts kits direct to your door. Complete uppers must ship to an FFL who is willing to pin/weld a muzzle brake (not included).

  • New York: No parts kits (because of ghost gun laws). Complete uppers are fine.

• Permitted States: Lima Six complete belt-fed upper receivers and build kits may be shipped to the following states without specific restrictions on semi-automatic belt-fed firearms, provided buyers comply with federal age requirements (18 per our Terms) and other applicable laws:

• General Requirements:

  • Age Verification: Buyers must be at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to request proof of age.

  • No International Shipments: We do not ship outside the United States due to federal export regulations (e.g., ITAR).

  • Local Laws: Buyers are responsible for verifying compliance with local ordinances (e.g., city-specific bans in Boulder, CO).

  • Magazine Capacity: In restricted states, buyers must ensure the assembled firearm uses a belt or magazine that complies with state capacity limits (e.g., 10 or 15 rounds). Belt-fed systems may require modification to comply, which may be impractical for standard belt-fed designs.

• Shipping Process:

  • We ship to the address provided at checkout. Buyers must ensure the shipping address is in a permitted or restricted jurisdiction and complies with all requirements.

  • Orders to prohibited jurisdictions will be canceled, and a refund will be issued within 7–10 business days, minus a 7% restocking fee (to cover transactional and administrative costs).

  • Risk of loss transfers to the buyer upon delivery to the shipping carrier.

5. Returns and Refunds

• Return Policy: Lima Six Products may be returned within 14 days of receipt, subject to a 20% restocking fee. Products must be unused and in original packaging.

• Non-Returnable Items: Products that have been used, modified, or damaged are not eligible for return.

• Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. Refunds before shipment due to customer requested cancellations are subject to a 7% cancellation fee.

6. Warranty

• Limited Lifetime Warranty: Lima Six Products are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the original purchaser. This warranty does not cover abuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear unless a part fails earlier than its expected service life, as determined at the sole discretion of Control Dynamics Corporation.

• 7.2 No Liability for Misuse: Control Dynamics Corporation is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper use, modification, or failure to follow safety guidelines. You assume all risks associated with the purchase, assembly, and use of Lima Six Products, including risks of injury, property damage, or legal consequences from non-compliance.

• 7.3 Product Modifications: Any modification, alteration, or assembly of Lima Six Products, including changes to comply with state or local laws, is performed at your sole risk. We are not responsible for the performance, safety, or legality of modified Products. Improper modifications may void warranties and could result in unsafe operation or non-compliance.

• 7.4 Third-Party Components: Lima Six Products are designed to function with compatible components as specified in our documentation. We are not responsible for issues, including malfunctions, safety hazards, or legal non-compliance, arising from the use of third-party accessories, components, or ammunition. You are solely responsible for ensuring compatibility and compliance.

• 7.5 Training and Expertise: Lima Six Products, particularly build kits, require proper assembly and handling by individuals with adequate training and expertise in firearms. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary knowledge and skills to safely assemble, maintain, and operate our Products. We strongly recommend professional training in the safe handling of belt-fed firearms. We are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from inadequate training or improper handling.

• 7.6 Lima Six-Specific Safety Warnings: Lima Six Build Kits and Upper Receivers are designed for closed-bolt belt-fed configurations, which present unique safety risks due to their operational characteristics. You acknowledge the following inherent dangers:

  • Cook-Offs: Sustained or high-volume firing may cause excessive heat buildup in the chamber, potentially leading to unintentional firing (cook-offs).

  • Burns: The higher volume of fire in belt-fed systems increases the risk of severe burns from hot barrels, casings, or other components.

  • Gas Tube Failure: Overheating or prolonged rapid fire may cause gas tubes to burst, potentially leading to catastrophic failure, injury, or damage.
    To mitigate these risks, you agree to:

  • Assemble and use the Product strictly in accordance with the technical documentation and instructions provided.

  • Limit firing to short bursts of 6–8 rounds.

  • Allow the firearm to cool after every 200 rounds fired.

  • Manually lock the bolt in the open position after rapid firing to prevent cook-offs.
    Failure to follow these guidelines may result in equipment failure, serious injury, or death. Control Dynamics Corporation assumes no liability for incidents arising from misuse or disregard of these precautions.
