The LIMA SIX features a patent-pending stretched upper receiver, which provides an additional ~3/4″ of bolt carrier group travel compared to a standard AR15. This is a critical improvement for a belt fed firearm, as this additional travel assists in delinking rounds from the belt, which results in more reliable feeding. It also lowers the perceived recoil and delivers a more controllable rate of fire. No other belt fed AR15 on the market has this upgrade!
Additionally, the LIMA SIX features a top cover unlike any other belt fed available. With user-adjustable tension on the hinge, two-point latch engagement, and an adjustable set-screw to take up any slack that may develop over time, The LIMA SIX has an extremely reliable ability to hold zero even after repeated opening and closing. Initial testing shows that sub 2-MOA accuracy is achievable, which is unheard of for a belt fed firearm.
The LIMA SIX is compatible with standard AR15 barrels (with simple modification), although certain factors like barrel length, profile and gas system length need to be considered before swapping barrels. Please refer to the Tech Info section of our website for complete information regarding acceptable barrels.

RECEIVER DESIGN
More travel for belt-fed operation.
The stretched receiver provides approximately ¾ inch of additional bolt carrier group travel compared with a standard AR-15. That extra travel helps the system pull cartridges free from the belt links, supporting reliable feeding in the Lima Six platform.
FEED COMPONENTS
M249 feed pawls.
The Lima Six incorporates M249 feed pawls into its belt-feed system, bringing established components into a platform built around the AR-15.
FEED TRAY
Billet machined. Hardened 17-4PH.
The top-loading feed tray is machined from billet 17-4PH stainless steel and hardened. Opening the top cover provides direct access to the tray for belt loading.
CHARGING HANDLE
Reciprocating. Removable for cleaning.
The charging handle reciprocates with the bolt carrier group and is retained by two hex screws. Its removable design allows access for cleaning and maintenance.
TOP COVER
Adjustable support for your optic.
The adjustable top cover helps maintain a secure optic mounting platform and hold zero. Adjustable hinge tension provides added support for heavier optics.
